Natural therapy for depression?

Im looking for something to help with depression as i dont want to use drugs. Can anyone recommend a herbal remedy of some sort to help with depression? Thanks

Herbally, St Johns Wort or Kava Kava are good for regulating moods. The St Johns Wort will take about a month to really take effect but Kava Kava can sometimes make your energy level drop. You can also diffuse bergamot, rose, jasmine, orange, lemon, essential oils in your home to help lift your mood. Do not ingest essential oils unless you are under the care of a licensed aromatherapist. Exercise of any kind helps a lot too. Just walking is one of the best things you can do for yourself. The body is a whole being and needs to be treated as such. A balanced diet will help as well, if you are putting good stuff in your body it will reward you by giving you more energy to get out and walk, which makes you feel better all around.
