Will meditation help me learn how to concentrate better? How to meditate?

Is meditation one of those things you have to practice to become good at? Because when I've tried it, I get distracted easily and my mind wanders. Ok can I NOT have answers about Jesus or Christian stuff? That's NOT WHAT I'M ASKING.

It's probably not bad. It may not have any intrinsic benefits, but the spin-offs are, at least, good. Be still and know that I am God, for example. The result is...etc.
