meditate on the following verses This is the Gospel...the centerpiece of understanding of what God has done for man. 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I have delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day, according to the scriptures. Mans Character : Sinful Nature Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Gods Character: Love John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Action By God and Man At the Cross : Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Mans Response : Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt belive in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
