HI ,as a long term visitor in the netherlands i am looking for a place to practice meditation like zen or mindfulness meditation in the south of holland perferable in the denbosh area thanks

There are 100 Buddhist centers in the Netherlands, many of which are in the Zen or Vipassana/Mindfulness/Insight traditions. I'm not sure where Denbosh is, but you can probably narrow down your options pretty quickly by going through the list yourself. Need Help With Stress Reduction?

by familymwr Question by Toronto Guy on " Stress Reduction ": 49 year old man here - newbie (for the most part) to relaxation techniques. I am currently undergoing significant stresses in my life and it will be getting worse over the next week. I'm prone to anxiety and I can feel it eating me up inside. With everything I do, I feel like I'm on 'fire', on red alert. I just did a half hour of controlled breathing - slowly - through my diaphram and it's not feeling any better. My chest still feel tight, numbness in my left arm, just feel like I can't catch my breath. Is it un-reasonable to expect that it would have helped even a BIT? I know it was for my first time trying, but I hoped that I'd get a little relief. I guess I feel very slightly better, but I need something else. Any other good tips for relaxing/stress relief?
