Does meditation really work? How do i start?

I have read about how good meditation is for you. Especially if you suffer from anxiety issues. How do i start meditating and getting the full effect from it. Is there cds that help you relax while doing meditation. Any info is really appreciated!!!

yes it works, but it's different for each person. figure out what relaxes you personally. then take a few minutes a day, breathe deeply, play some music that relaxes you, and just reflect on your day.. on your life.. what you have thats great. then open your eyes with a positive attitude
