What is the best natural holistic food for a Newfoundland breed dog?

I am looking for a name of a great food to feed our pet when he is an older puppy and into adulthood, he is on bottle right now. I would prefer a natural holistic brand, and don't want all the fillers and fake promises that we can sometimes get from most dog foods. I live in Ontario Canada, so if you know a store that carries the brand you know of, please list it. Thank you!

Make your own. Whole pieces of uncooked chicken are good (dogs don't get salmonella). Google home-made dog food. There are some good diets listed.
