The west of any room in your home deals with wealth, but it does not exist in a vacuum. The east can favor careers, the south your achievements being noticed, and the northwest can provide mentors and other helpful people. Traditional feng shui methods to enhance wealth are to hang 3 coins tied with red string on the inside door knob of your front door. Make a hidden wealth container by filling a crystal vase with semi-precious stones and coins and "hiding" it inside a closet or cupboard in the southwest of your bedroom. If you use a metal container hide it in the west or northwest of the room. A wind chime in the northwest of the living room will bring helpful people. A natural quartz crystal placed in the northwest will do the same. Placing a light in the south of your living room enhances being noticed. I recommend you look for feng shui books for more information and greater understanding. Feng shui is a combination of design, astrology/numerology, and frankly, sometimes superstition. I have 3 books that are quite helpful: Practical Feng Shui by Simon Brown; Feng Shui Step By Step by T Raphael Simons; and, Easy-To-Use Feng Shui by Lillian Too.
