Does anyone know of a doctor in the Seattle area that will prescribe natural (plant based) hormone therapy?

I've had the most difficult time trying to find a doctor that will at least consider this option for women in the peri menopause stage. I would at least like to consider the possibilty among other options after speaking with a knowledgable physician in this field. Seattle is such a large city that is open to cutting edge medical avenues that you would think that a doctor that practices this would not be so difficult to find. Anybody with an idea?

Plant based and "natural" hormones are no better. There is no advantage. Hormones are hormones. You get a false sense of security but you are manipulated anyway. Premarin (pregnant mare's) urine is a natural product after all, has been around for over 60 years. The so-called natural hormones are still made in labs, end up in 50-gallon drums, and sit around in factories then in stores for months and years, they are no better than those made by the pharma companies.
