Feng Shui bedroom question?

Question by Radio Flyer on "Feng Shui":

I have Hokusai's "Great Wave" print above my bed, and it looks wonderful. My Mother said she is not sure how "Feng Shui" this is, and is not sure about having 'fierce waves' above my head when I am sleeping - can someone confirm or (hopefuly) deny my Mother's comment? She can be a bit of an odd ball at times. I have done my own Feng Shui research but I can't find anything to support her point, in fact I found this on a Feng Shui site; "How you decorate and furnish your bedroom is purely personal". Cheers for your help in advance!

Hi, waves or water photographs are not recommended by Feng Shui" in bedrooms, for water elements are not restful, water is always moving, landscapes are better..and yet I do agree that one is to decorate with things they love, perhaps you can put this picture somewhere else in your home. If you want your romantic life to be better, add some touches of red in your room, such as accessories, pillows, vases. Best feng shui advice for the bedroom art is to choose images that you want to see happening in your life. Unless you enjoy being sad and lonely, do not use sad and lonely images in your bedroom. for more info on feng shui visit http://fengshui.about.com/ to make decorative elements for your bedroom visit http://miycreations.com
