Is This A Reasonable Loss?

Question by Orange Rain on "Feng Shui":

I am trying to sell my condominium. As you may know, the housing market is down, and I have been attempting for about 3 years to sell my house (not continuously, but I have tried several times). I have had two agents, the first didn't do a good job, and the second is hyped up on some "feng shui" crap. lol, anyway both told me that if I would ever have hopes in selling my condo right now, I would have to lower the price by $ 15,000 less than what I bought it for, which would mean i have to pay $ 15,000 upfront because the price fell. I have had it for 6 years, and I need to relocate for personal reasons. Anybody think it is worth it? I would like to move out as soon as possible, but would this be worthy of a good enough loss to take? p.s. I know I posted this before, but I re-edited it because it missed some important parts, and i might have given a wrong impression on some parts.

You don't say where you are, where the home is, how big it is, when you bought it and for how much, and what the agents estimate the market value to be. It is recent comparative hime sales that will give you the answer. Please don't take the answer from here. In some areas, the markets are depressed below prices seen in ten years....In others, markets are down below two years ago prices. so, it really depends where you are.
