My father's Threatening me with HIS Suicide...?

Question by Eric Z on "Feng Shui":

Does anyone else find that somewhat wrong and pathetic? I have nothing against him. I love him but he's just basically the whipping boy of my overbearing mother. He's an old diabetic and needs insulin shots everyday. I'm Asian. Everytime I do something that goes against the culture of my mother she gets angry. She takes it out on my father. And then my Father threatens me with his Suicide if I don't do it. I'm not even talking about stuff like drugs or alcohol here. I'm just talking about putting up a POSTER in my room which happens to ruin the "Feng Shui". I take Western Medicine like TYLENOL or MOTRIN and thats considered Poison and Evil. I need sleeping Medicine as I am an Insomniac and they fight me every step of the way, again threatening me with his suicide unless I ONLY take Asian Medicine, the one you brew with herbs that literally taste like dirt among other things that'd you find on the floor.... I havn't slept in 3 days and it's clearly not working. What should I do....? I don't think it's about Attention. I think it's just about making me do stuff I don't like and kill whatevers left of my pride. Since he's diabetic all he has to do is eat a load of candy and he's done it before... I'm 15. I can't move out. I don't have access to proper medicine. I'm trying to get proper medication but they're trying to stop me every step of the way and if you've ever seen Michael Moores Movie "Sicko" you'd know how slow our Health Care System is... I'm in constant pain, the lack of sleep is actually inducing Migraines. My grades and social life are suffering and this by no means is making me happy...

The Feng Shui Detective: Feng Shui Detective, #1 (Felony & Mayhem Mysteries)

Feng Shui master C.F. Wong is no fan of the 21st century. It is far too rushed and noisy, a terrible environment for the kind of peaceful contemplation that his work requires. His clients seem to view him as some sort of general problem-solver, as able to find a missing child as he is to correct the pernicious influences that are bringing bad luck to a business. But there is worse. One of Mr. Wong's clients, a client who cannot be offended, has given Mr. Wong a gift. It comes complete with a never-silent cell-phone, an unfortunate wardrobe, and a grating Australian accent. Mr. Wong has an intern.
